Opening reception for new exhibit "Through the Generosity of Others"
Please join us at the Clinton Historical Society at 1 Fountain Street on May 5th at 2pm for the Opening Reception for our new Exhibit “Through the Generosity of Others”. Our latest exhibit celebrates the generosity that supports the Historical Society. The three examples highlighted include, our new exhibit cases made possible by a generous bequest from the late Frank Lorenz, an 1838 coverlet donated by the heirs of Lucy Jones and a new Old Burying Ground Sign supported by a grant from the Hamilton College Town Gown. There will be short comments regarding each donation. The new exhibit cases and the lovely coverlet will be on display as well the history of the Old Burying Ground and details about the new sign. Refreshments will be served.
