We started acquiring historical objects and documents back in the 1920s. They were displayed in the “history room” of the Kirkland Town Library. These were the items in our first collection at the founding of the Clinton Historical Society in 1962.
Today our extensive collection includes images, documents, artifacts, exhibits, ephemera, Clinton Central School yearbooks, and Clinton hockey history. So whether you’re just browsing or doing research, we’re sure you’ll discover lots of new and interesting facts about Clinton and the Town of Kirkland. And maybe a bit of your own history along the way!

Hockey History at Thank You Albert Prettyman
2018 was quite a year as the community celebrated 100 years of hockey with the Thank You Albert Prettyman weekend in February. Then in September, we won the national Kraft Hockeyville USA title. The Thank You Albert Prettyman/Clinton Hockeyville USA website is now a part of our site.
