Please join the Clinton Historical Society in welcoming Zach Lewis on Sunday May 19th at 2:00pm for his presentation Local Lens: Photos from Our Times, a photojournalistic exploration of impactful moments that have shaped the Village of Clinton and Town of Kirkland in recent years. Journalist Zach Lewis, with a decade of experience covering Clinton and Kirkland news, has captured thousands of poignant photographs that chronicle the events and developments in the Village and Town. These photographs will be presented with insights into the narratives behind each frame. Through his discussion, Lewis emphasizes the significance of hyper-local news in fostering a strong community. The presentation will also provide a glimpse behind the scenes of movie productions that utilized the picturesque Village as a cinematic backdrop. In addition, Lewis will showcase his personal collection of Clinton artifacts, infusing these narratives with a hands-on sense of history. Lewis, an award-winning educator, photographer and journalist from Clinton, N.Y., is the author of the upcoming book "Clinton and Kirkland," set for publication by Arcadia Publishing in June, 2024.
