We are pleased to announce the hiring of our new Administrator Joanne Gilles. Joanne is a Utica native and a graduate of the former Utica Free Academy.
She earned a BA in Art History from Brown and a Master’s in Public Administration from Northeastern. She served as career Foreign Service Officer with the U.S. State Department and was posted at numerous locations overseas, as well as in Washington D.C.
Her volunteer experience includes acting as docent in museums both in Taiwan and Indonesia. Joanne, her husband and their three children moved to Clinton in 2019.
She currently serves as a Village Trustee and a vestry member at St. James Church. Joanne’s skills, creativity and enthusiasm will make her an asset to the Society. Please join us in welcoming her.
