Zach Lewis, Society director, presents his recent photographs in an exhibit entitled “Walking Around With a Camera” at the Society; come and enjoy the show and refreshments.

July 3, 2017
• 7:00pm
The Chester Gillette/Grace Brown affair. On March 30, 1908 Chester Gillette was executed for killing his pregnant girlfriend Grace Brown by drowning her in Big Moose Lake in 1906. This is a classic story and was made into a DVD entitled “A North Woods Elegy: Incident At Big Moose Lake” by Derek Taylor, a son-in-law of former Society coordinator Bob Tegart.

“Historic Photo Walk” with Zach Lewis and Dick Williams; bring a camera and walk around the village center to record and view new and old buildings from different angles; a commentary on the architecture and history will be provided.
