“Grover Cleveland and the Clinton Centennial in 1887” will be presented at the Clinton Historical Society, 1 Fountain Street, Clinton, NY, on Sunday February 12 at 2 p.m. The program is free and open to the public.

Clinton Historical Society president Wade Lallier will present the program and he will discuss Grover Cleveland’s life and the impact of his visit to the Clinton Centennial. Cleveland once lived in Clinton and with his wife, returned to visit his childhood home on July 13th, 1887.
 
Lallier of Deansboro has a degree in social studies from Syracuse University and along with his general interest in local history, he is an ardent researcher of the local Chenango Canal.
